Show AllJomsom–Muktinath Tour: A Journey of Beauty and Faith
The Jomsom–Muktinath tour isn’t just a trip. it’s an experience that blends adventure, culture, and spirituality. Set in the world-famous Annapurna region, this journey takes you through breathtaking Himalayan landscapes to Muktinath, one of the most sacred places in Nepal. For centuries, both Hindus and Buddhists have traveled here to pray, find peace, and wash away sins in its holy waters. Known in ancient times as Chumig Gyatse, it is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava and holds deep spiritual meaning for Himalayan communities.
Along the way, we visit Jomsom, once called Dzong Sak. This small town, which once served as a fort, sits beside the mighty Kali Gandaki River, home to the sacred Shaligram stones. It’s also the heartland of the Thakali people, whose warm hospitality, unique culture, and delicious cuisine will leave a lasting impression.
As we trek, the views are nothing short of magical: dramatic valleys, charming villages, ancient monasteries, and the awe-inspiring peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri two of the tallest mountains in the world. The route is also rich in biodiversity, from alpine forests to dry, high-altitude landscapes.
This is more than a journey from one place to another it’s a chance to connect with the soul of the Himalayas, experience its cultures up close, and create memories you’ll carry for a lifetime.
