Jomsom Muktinath Tour

Jomsom Muktinath Tpur falls in the famed Annaurna region. The journey takes you on an adventurous pilgrimage to Muktinath, the holiest Buddhist shrine in the Himalayas. This ancient site is dedicated to Padmasambhava and was originally called Chumig Gyatse by Himalayan communities. It is one of the important pilgrimage centers for both Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims.

We will also visit Jomsom (originally called Dzong Sak). Once a fort, Jomsom lies on the banks of the Kali Gandaki River. A visit to Jomsom will allow us to explore the lifestyles and culture of the local Thakali people. Along the trail, we will have plenty of time to experience the unique biodiversity and majestic Himalayan range including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, two of the world’s highest mountains.
