Our staffs are the backbone of our operation. Without them, we couldn’t run the company. That is why we put more emphasis on ensuring the future of our staff. Most of our staff are provided with the opportunity for education and training. They are also well paid and well insured. We give extra care to our porters who come from remote villages to earn their livelihood.

WE SUPPORT THE LOCAL ECONOMY
We support the local economy primarily in two ways. Firstly, by employing local people as guides and porters or as one of our field staff. This will allow them to earn and support their family. This also offers them the opportunity to develop their personality and improve their skills for better opportunities ahead.
Secondly, we directly support the local economy by buying and purchasing locally grown organic food. For instance, while trekking into remote areas, we encourage locals to provide us with food such as locally grown vegetables. This will directly help the locals to earn some cash and become financially better.
