7-day Yoga Retreat & Meditation

A 7-day Yoga Retreat & Meditation is a perfect way to balance your mind and body and achieve peace and happiness.  This 7-day yoga program will provide you with a weeklong spiritual solitude amidst a natural forest near Kathmandu Valley. You will learn and practice the philosophy of yoga, practice meditation, receive relaxation and treatments, and rejuvenate your mind and body. Experienced and certified yoga gurus will take yoga sessions and guide you personally. If you are interested, you can combine Yoga & Meditation with Ayurveda and Sightseeing.

Yoga Retreat & Meditation program also includes a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley, including a visit to Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares, an indigenous cultural show, and a sunrise tour to Nagarkot or Sarangkot to see beautiful Himalayan peaks. 7-day Yoga Retreat & Meditation is currently available in Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu international airport, we will welcome you at the airport and drive you to your hotel. Stroll in Thamel or the local market in the evening. Stay overnight in a hotel. This is a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley under the guidance of a city tour guide. You will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swoymabu Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, etc.

Day 01:01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02:02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley
Day 03:03 to 06days : Morning drive to Yoga Retreat Center for a Yoga session
Day 04:Yoga session
Day 05:Yoga session
Day 06:Evening drive to Nagarkot hill station Take a short evening drive to Nagarkot where you can enjoy sunset view. Stay overnight in hotel
Day 07:Enjoy early morning sunrise view and Himalayan peaks from Nagarkot. Afterwards, as per your flight schedule, drive to Kathmandu international airport for your return flight.

Packing List

As this is a moderate Trek in the Annapurna Conservation Area, you need to be prepared less than other challenging treks but doing every trek is always challenging if it is in a mountainous region and snow-covered area.

It is recommended to have:

  1. A pair of Hiking/Trekking Boots along with Shoe Clamps for Snow trips (only during the snowy period).
  2. A pair of walking sticks as per your requirement.
  3. Few pairs of warm/thick socks & two hiking trousers (You can decide on your own as no laundry will be available during the trek).
  4. 2-3 T-shirts along with long sleeve shirts.
  5. Warm jackets, wind stopper (for daytime while doing the trek in the lower region)
  6. Some dry fruits and nuts/nut bars, basic medicines (Paracetamol, anta-allergics, etc.), and Sunscreen.
  7. A Pair of knee supporters.
  8. Head Lamp, Toilet Paper (or you can buy it at the lodge), and quick-drying towel.
  9. Thermal Under wares (body warmers)
  10. Warm Gloves, Sunglasses, and sun hats.
  11. Sleeping bag, backpack (Duffle bag will be provided by your company), water bottle.
