Your journey begins in the valley between the Budhi Gandaki and Bhote Koshi rivers, following the peaceful flow of the Trisuli Khola. As you walk, you will see a beautiful mix of landscapes: clear springs, rolling green hills, deep gorges, and sparkling glaciers.

Ganesh Himal Short Trek – Outline

Day 01:Arrival Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel

Day 02:Sightseening in Kathmandu valley

Day 03:Kathmandu – To Betrawati (5 hours bus drive). North of Kathmandu via Trishuli Bazar

Day 04:Betrawati – Kispang (aprx. hight 1600m.); 5 hours walk.

Day 05:Kispang – Thulo Chaur (aprx. hight 2200m.); 5 hours walk.

Day 06:Thulo Chaur – Gonga (aprx. hight 2900m.); 3-4 hours walk.

Day 07:Gonga – Rupchet (aprx. hight 3635m.); this is the base camp of Shing La Top; 4 hours walk.

Day 08:Rupchet Kharka to Chhermo (2800m.)

Day 09:Chermo to Maygaon (2300m.).

Day 10:Maygaon to Deurali and Kathmandu

Day 11:Departure onward destination.

Essential Gear for the Ganesh Himal Short Trek

Clothing:
Pack warm, layered clothing suitable for changing mountain weather. Include thermal underwear (3 pairs): Choose breathable, moisture-wicking underwear made from merino wool or synthetic fabrics to maintain comfort and hygiene throughout the trek. Trekking Shirts (3): Pack a mix of short and long-sleeved shirts made from lightweight, quick-drying, and moisture-wicking fabrics like merino wool, polyester, or nylon. These materials keep you comfortable and dry during long hikes. (Avoid cotton, as it retains moisture.), a fleece jacket, a down jacket, gloves, socks (3 pairs), a towel, trekking boots, a sleeper, hiking pants, and a waterproof jacket and pants to stay protected from cold and wind.

Your international flight ticket to and from Nepal and the Nepal entry visa fee are not included.
