Ghale Gaun Trekking

The village is located at an altitude of 2100m in western Nepal on the way to Pokhara. One in Ghalegaun you will be welcomed with traditional hospitality. From Ghalegaun you can view the majestic Himalayan ranges including Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna II (7,993m), Annapurna IV (7,525m),  Lamjung Himal, Machhapuchhre (6,993), Himalchnli (6,747m), Bouddha Himal (6,974m), and many smaller peaks. You will also have plenty of wildlife to observe during your visit to Ghalegaun.

The village is also famous for ancient Honey-hunting techniques. Enjoy watching locals impressive feat of climbing cliffs that are 300 meters high using bamboo ladders and hemp ropes and collecting honey.
